SILENT AUCTIONS - Wonderful minerals, fossils and gemstones!
Silent auctions are held every hour or so, all through the weekend!
Simply write down your name, your highest bid, and you might be surprised!

*a classic copper tree specimen from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan

PANNING FOR GOLD ! - Learn how to pan for gold under the supervision of experienced members of the Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA).

CHILDREN'S JEWELRY MAKING

Larry Richey showing young jewelers the ropes! - Children choose polished stones
and findings and, with the assistance of Searcher members, assemble their own
necklaces, bracelets, rings, bolo ties or pet critters to take home with them.
Free tickets
are distributed at the Hospitality Table at the entrance.

ROCK 'N' KIDS ! - Special rockhound activities just for kids!
GRAB BAG GIFTS - Carefully packed grab bags ($0.50 each) delight the kids with all
manner of mineral treasures. At the same table, pick up back issues of magazines such
as Lapidary Journal, Rock and Gem, etc....
HOURLY DOOR-PRIZE DRAWINGS - Pickup your complimentary ticket at the Hospitality
Table when you enter the show, and listen for the loudspeaker announcement of the
drawings each hour. Prizes have been generously donated by local businesses and
individuals; please visit them and thank them for their generous support!
