Come celebrate our 50th year of hosting rock shows in Anaheim, California. For 2009 we are honored to have longtime members Jim Williamson and Larry Richey as our joint Show Chairmen. Jim has been past president of the club, director and active in our show every year since he joined. Larry has been very active with the Long Beach Veterans Hospital Lapidary program, head of Show Security forever, oversaw Childrens Jewelrymaking at the show and moreover he is one of our two Lapidary and Rockhounding Hall of Fame winners. Walter Mroch is again our Dealer Chairman and plans on adding a few more dealers. Herb Beckman will take charge of modifying our show layout as he has done for many years as well. Norbert Bernhardt will take charge of our highly successful silent auctions that take place during the show. Members should start saving up good materials now. Beth Pelfrey has taken the helm running the kitchen again too. Our 2009 Annual Show is already in the planning stages even though we are almost a year away. Most of our dealers are lined up but we are always looking for a few more. This is our 50th, that's right 50th SHOW! It is the big one and we plan on making it the best FREE Lapidary (rockhound) Show in Southern California. Please contact us if you would like to join this momentous occassion and volunteer and share the experience. We will also be looking for unique exhibitors, demonstrators, etc to participate in our show. To contact the Show Chairmen please send inquiries to showchair@searchersrocks.org
